Welcome to Shh! Just Tell You, my little travel corner on the internet where I’m documenting my adventures with my younger sister, Bonnie. We haven’t traveled that much (yet!), but every trip feels worth sharing — especially with you.

The name “Shh! Just Tell You” came from the idea of telling secrets to your BFFs. That’s how I see everyone who visits this blog — as a best friend. So whether it’s the travel planning I do before the trip, or the unexpected little moments along the way, I want to tell you everything.

Through these stories, cozy stays, and tiny travel tips, I hope you’ll find a spark of inspiration for your next adventure — from one BFF to another.

About Sophie：Not to document perfection, but to remember how I’ve slowly grown.

Back in 2013, something unexpected happened — I suddenly got really into tech gear. I saved up and bought my first little point-and-shoot camera… and immediately got scolded by my parents for spending too much.
But that tiny camera opened the door.

In 2015, I planned my first solo trip — a self-guided adventure to Kyoto. I had no idea what I was doing, but I ended up falling in love with the whole experience. When I got back, I wrote my first (pretty clumsy) travel blog post. It wasn’t perfect, but surprisingly, it helped a lot of people. Still, at the time, I didn’t dive headfirst into the travel life.

Like most people, I went straight into the workforce after graduation. But thanks to the intense pressure of working at an accounting firm, I made a promise to myself: at least one trip every year to stay sane.
Somewhere along those trips, I found a deeper joy — not just in traveling, but in capturing the little moments through my lens.

In 2019, I launched Shh! Just Tell You — a place to share every bit of my travel life with you.
One day, I hope traveling won’t just be an escape… but a way of life. A life that I’ll keep writing about, one adventure at a time.

About Bonnie：I find joy the moment I pick up a camera.

It only took one chance — the moment I picked up my sister’s camera — to understand why she was so obsessed with capturing everything around her.
Because that’s when I realized: we all see the world differently.
Even when we’re standing in the same place, at the same time, the way we see it — the way we feel it — is never quite the same.

I’ve always loved taking photos. Writing? Not so much.
Every now and then, I’ll put some thoughts into words… but mostly, I let the pictures speak for me.

But let’s be real: reality (and time) doesn’t always cooperate. So my travel pace usually falls somewhere between must-see tourist spots and slow, in-depth exploration.

Still, no matter where I go, I’m committed to sharing practical guides, honest travel notes, and budget-friendly tips — all told with sincere words and real photos.
