About Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle

Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle is a four-star hotel that offers parking services. In the morning, there’s coffee time at the lobby’s coffee bar, and in the afternoon, there’s wine tasting. Additionally, the hotel features the restaurant brand  Tulio Ristorante, which is a Northern Italian restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s also a bar area. If you prefer not to spend too much time worrying about meals, want to avoid dining mishaps outside, or are interested in experiencing American Italian cuisine with quality service and ambiance, this would be a great choice!

The exterior and parking

From a distance, the hotel sign is quite prominent and easy to spot. The hotel itself is tall, approximately 10 stories high, which feels safer compared to many Inns or motels that typically have 1-3 floors. During the day and night, the city views from the windows are quite nice!

The ground floor parking area is simply decorated yet exudes a sense of luxury. Upon arriving, visitors can turn left to enter directly. There, reception staff greet you and inquire if you are staying overnight and need parking. Once informed that you are staying and require parking, they may offer assistance with your luggage to your room, although in our case, we had few items and carried them ourselves. The vehicle can be handed over to them, and they will provide a small card for registering your name and vehicle number. However, I didn’t have to show this card again when picking up my car upon checkout.

LOBBY

The lobby on the ground floor is luxurious and beautifully adorned. There are amenities such as lemon-infused ice water and water cups available for guests to enjoy at any time. Additionally, you can see a cabinet at the back stocked with a variety of red and white wines, which adds a very elegant touch!

King Premium – Introduction

No more beating around the bush—let’s dive right into how the room looked this time, which is the most important part!

I stayed in the King Premium City View room, which happened to be a corner room. This meant the room had large windows, offering excellent natural light and views. In addition to this, the room’s closet was stocked with bathrobes and a yoga mat! For those who enjoy staying active, even during travels, it’s perfect for yoga or stretching after a day of exploring on foot.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable with great pillows. The design of the bedside lamp was also quite unique and stylish.

There were a total of four pillows on the bed, along with two decorative pillows, allowing guests to choose pillows of varying softness or firmness according to their preference.

The room also featured a luxurious-looking sofa and a desk, making the space quite spacious, comfortable, and uncluttered. It easily accommodated guests with large luggage, providing ample room to move around. The numerous large windows allowed sunlight to filter in from different angles throughout the day.

During the day, you can see Mount Rainier to the southeast of Seattle from the windows. At night, the view switches to the beautiful cityscape. Although some taller buildings partially obstruct the view, being able to enjoy such scenery without needing to travel far to other viewpoints is quite satisfying. It’s safer to return to your accommodation earlier in the evening as going out at night alone can be relatively risky. If you’re not traveling with companions, it’s advisable to return to your lodging before the sun sets and darkness falls!
