About Tulio Ristorante
Tulio Ristorante, located within the Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle in downtown Seattle, has been a trusted choice among Seattle diners since its opening in 1992. This restaurant seamlessly blends Northern Italian cuisine with the vibrant city of Seattle, offering a perfect fusion of flavors from Northern Italy and the charm of Seattle.
"Tulio" derives from Chef Walter Pisano's father, John Tulio Pisano, whose passion and dedication to ingredients deeply influence every dish here. Known for its classic and cozy interior design, the restaurant exudes rich Italian and European elements, creating a warm and distinctly European dining atmosphere.

Dining Environment
Tulio Ristorante features a classic decor primarily adorned with wood, with walls covered in rich wood paneling that exudes a classical charm at the entrance. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a cozy bar area showcasing a selection of fine spirits and wines. The restaurant’s ceiling lights are elegantly warm, emitting soft, ambient lighting that creates a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Tables are elegantly set with transparent glassware and white napkins, enhancing the sophisticated dining experience. Seating options vary, including chairs and booth-style benches, catering comfortably to both small and large groups.

Tulio Ristorante – Gourmet Delights
Tulio Ristorante offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. During our two-day Seattle trip, we enjoyed dinner on the first night and breakfast the following morning at Tulio. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, both meals amazed us and provided a perfect and unforgettable culinary experience. Let me first share about our dinner experience.

This dessert is familiar to everyone and can often be seen in Taiwan as well.
Tulio uses Italian gelato as the base for this dessert, topped with crushed hazelnut brittle for decoration. Finally, a piping hot espresso is poured over it on the spot, creating a contrast of hot and cold sensations.

Conclusion of Dinner
The dinner at Tulio truly amazed me. While I have had similar dishes in Taiwan before, the richness and layers of flavors upon tasting were completely different. You can feel the chef’s dedication and passion in every bite. Despite being Italian cuisine, each dish gave me a sense of home and authenticity, while also showcasing the chef’s creativity. I highly recommend visiting Tulio in Seattle to experience this extraordinary Italian dinner for yourself.
By the way, as someone with an average appetite, I found that after finishing the appetizer, I was already slightly full. During the main course, I could hardly finish half of it. The portions are generous and sincere, so I would suggest sharing an appetizer between two people!

Good morning! What do you have for breakfast?
Upon waking up early in the morning, the first thing that comes to mind is always: What’s for breakfast? However, feeling a bit tired from driving and sightseeing the previous evening, and not quite up for walking right away, we opted to have breakfast at Tulio, the restaurant downstairs at our accommodation, Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle! We each ordered a breakfast dish and chose grapefruit juice and black coffee as our morning beverages.
Avocado Baguette $15
It’s a light and delicious dish that combines fresh avocado, herb salad, pickled red onions, and goat cheese.
The pickled red onions offer a tangy sweetness and crisp texture, adding layers to the dish and providing a delightful highlight to the overall flavor profile. I think this dish is perfect for those who enjoy healthy and light meals.

Breakfast Sandwich $17
The dish includes cage-free egg over easy, chili sauce, Italian hard sheep’s milk cheese (pecorino), sesame leaves, pickled peppers, and English muffin.
The hard sheep’s milk cheese has a rich dairy aroma and salty taste, while the pickled peppers provide a tangy flavor and crisp texture, making it truly memorable and delightful.
After breakfast, we headed to explore several nearby attractions. The restaurant is centrally located, within walking distance of several popular sights, so we didn’t have to worry about traffic problems arising from long distances.
